South Texas Children’s Homes are communities that provide homes for children, families and single moms with unique needs. Through our fundraising events and gracious donations we were able to award $8,000 to each home in 2015. Learn more about the incredible work they do.
South Texas Children’s Home Ministries
STCH is a faith-based, nonprofit organization that has been caring for children and families since 1952. They provide homes for Children who need care, homes for Families for single moms and their children, family Counseling services for individuals, couples, and families, jobs for life to improve job skills and grow spiritually, and international ministry to children and families in the Dominican Republic. Sunny Glen Children’s Home
Established in 1936, Sunny Glenn provides neglected and abused children with a safe and loving environment that emphasizes Christian values and the American work ethic. The Home provides long-term residential care, a variety of counseling services and supervised development programs while pursuing the goal of family reunification when possible. Big Springs Ranch for Children
Established in 1977, Hill Country Youth Ranch is a non-profit charitable corporation licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services to provide long-term therapeutic care for abused and orphaned children at all levels of trauma and need. There are few places on earth that can match the breath-taking beauty of Big Springs Ranch. Known as “the country of 1100 springs”, the Ranch existed for centuries as home to Native Americans, and eventually to European pioneers. Its most recent purpose is a tribute to the visionary who saw its possibilities for children and dreamed a dream that in the end came true.
Steaks for Troops
We support the Wounded Warriors organization by sponsoring and organizing steak meals for troops, veterans and wounded warriors.
