South Texas CattleWomen are dedicated to advocating for the beef industry through comprehensive educational programs. Our initiatives aim to highlight the importance of beef in our diet, its economic impact, and sustainable practices in cattle farming. We believe in empowering communities with knowledge and fostering a deeper appreciation for the beef industry.

STCW donates over $10,000 of beef per home each year to support the nutritional needs of the residents.

South Texas Children’s Home Ministries

South Texas Children’s Homes provide support for abused, abandoned and neglected children, families and single moms in need.

CONNECTIONS in New Braunfels

Steaks for Troops

STCW supports the All American Beef Battalion Steaks for Troops program, Wounded Warrior projects through Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, and military rehabilitation programs financially and as volunteers.

Scholarships

We support scholarships that advance our industry, culture, and community.

Texas Beef Ambassadors

Provides opportunities for youth to educate consumers about beef nutrition, food safety, and stewardship practices of the beef industry.

STCW supports the beef industry’s future by awarding a cash scholarship to a Miss Rodeo America contestant who has earned her Masters of Beef Advocacy certification. This initiative highlights our commitment to empowering individuals who advocate for agriculture and the beef community.

A Texas tradition for more than six decades, with the Miss Rodeo Texas inauguration crowning in 1959, the Miss Rodeo Texas Pageant has produced seven Miss Rodeo Americas.
